Nothing else would load during its flight, so as to not put strain on the engine. It would fly in a straight line across the map to the new location.
How about, when you begin riding the dragon, it will fly in a circle in its current location like it normally would, but then, you direct it to fly into a different cell either by using the map, or movement keys. I don't think free-flying dragons is a good option either, so I have a proposition.
Not to mention, the dragons in that mod control about the same way as a horse with TCL off.īasically, I love the way that dragons fly in vanilla, but hate how they can't move from their current cell without a loading screen. GG77's Fully Flying Dragons seems to work, but it doesn't work with vanilla dragons you use Bend Will on, only the summon-able dragons the mod adds.
Ronghale's Command dragon mod looks almost like what dragon riding probably should have been like from the start, but is quite buggy, hasn't been updated since 2013, and has no SE port. I've browsed the various mods that exist for dragon flying, and each one has its own problems. So are we all in agreement that Dragonborn's bend will/dragon riding aspect is underwhelming? For several days, I've been looking for a way to replace it.
